We will profile two artists each day (starting tomorrow) leading up to the show on Friday! Be There!

Look for us on Friday November 9th from 7-10pm at 2640 Place, St. Paul Street. There will be spinning from DJ’s Sara Jabbari and Profit of the Terrorpens artwork from David Charles will be on display and we shall be blessed with sets from some of Baltimore’s finest talent:

Help Increase the Peace Youth Media and Arts Show

The Northwestern High School Peer Mediators organized a gift to the school and surrounding community. Complete with youth made videos from the Griot’s Eye Program and New Lens Productions , performances and presentations from the mediators themselves and those in the audience.

Everyone learned more about peer mediation and how it can benefit the community and the mediators were very proud.

We’re looking forward to working with Northwestern HS again next year.

Thank you to everyone who supported the Eddie Conway Freedom School Spring Break Lunch Power Hour. It was a great success as we had daily inter-generational conversations on culture, politics, community building, policing, etc. It was both an enlightening and healing experience. Folks left with smiles on their faces and food in their bellies.

The Eddie Conway Freedom School seeks to engage youth, families and communities in dialog and action around the issues that effect us most.

We’re hosting a Spring Break Lunch Session April 2-April 6 12-2pm at Pleasant Hope Baptist Church (430 E. Belvedere Ave). Different community groups will host each day as we explore through film, discussion or fun activities a particular topic over a meal.

April 13th is our spring re-launch. That Friday and every Friday until June 1st from 5-8pm, there will be a special presentation/dialog open to the community. We’re launching with “Who Profits from the Incarceration of Our Youth” by Heber Brown!

Hi, sorry it took me so long to respond. We actually did an event last year geared towards those youth & their benefit but nothing else has been dont specifically. i think the DC program is planning a presentation soon, I could get you connected if interested.
